Island Roots Market is a co-operative farmers’ & artisans’ market. A volunteer group of board members, including producers and consumers, has been meeting regularly to plan the market. We have scoured the city top to bottom to find a location that meets our needs and budget. We finally decided on the Pleasant Valley Hall at 6100 Dumont Road for a one day per week market opening October 22/14. We plan to be open from 3 to 6 pm each Wednesday.
